2 weeks 4 days old

I still find myself surprised sometimes that Willow arrived already! But we are settling in nicely.  She had her pediatrician visit on Thursday at 2weeks 1 day old and her weight was up to 5 lbs 6 oz, which is a great weight gain since her birth.  She has been eating well (from bottles, not from me yet, but we are working on it) and sleeping lots.  Paul and I are getting 'enough' sleep, somehow.  We have a system worked out where he heats up the bottle and then goes back to bed, and I feed her (40+ min) and change her diaper and then pump (20+ minutes).  And then we repeat every 3 hours.  I know, I'm letting him off easy, but if you see how much of a train wreck he is in the middle of the night (or the next day without sleep), it really is best just to give him one job to do in the middle of the night and let him sleep the rest of the time. He is bringing home the bacon, anyway.

One of my new favorite things to do is stare at Willow's cute face. And take pictures of it. So here you go.

We have to give her vitamin drops... they smell awful and probably taste terrible. She made the funniest faces after we gave them to her tho!

Hopefully we didn't traumatize her with those nasty drops. We have to give her 1 mL every day!

She is such a good baby! She only cries when she is hungry, and sometimes she fusses when she has gas. But otherwise she sleeps pretty well (although, never long enough) and eats well, it just takes her a while to do so. It took her an hour to get down 3 oz of milk this morning. And that's with doing a diaper change in the middle to wake her up. She is getting pretty good at waiting to 'show off' once we open up her diaper... the other day she hit the wall with her little fountain.
