Nothing much new going on here... Paul and I went for a bike ride on Sunday and we survived. 9 miles to get out of town, then 6 miles of riding on a quiet road with more bikes than cars. The road winds through a lush park, and there are actually HILLS! I was more excited than Paul. The whole ride is along the waterfront, with great views of manhattan. Next time we'll bring the camera; there are picnic areas along the way and it really feels like you're far away from the city! something we REALLY need lately... the thing is, getting there is such a pain (uphill on a narrow road that is super bumpy...) that we might drive the 9 miles and park so we can enjoy more time on bike-friendly roads.

Yesterday I went for a run, no pain. I feel like I can call myself a runner again, and it will keep me sane since biking probably won't happen every weekend. Even the view on my run is great! I always end on the hoboken waterfront, with a great view of the city. I went back later this evening to take some pictures...

To the right is a park that juts out into the river
Looking up the Hudson River at the George Washington Bridge off in the distance
Somewhere in there is the building where we work!

Another view of Manhattan. Man, i'm glad i don't live there.
My favorite view: Wall street, the southern tip of Manhattan. The US's most important financial buildings, and they look like they could all fall into the river at any moment.
