Willow is 22 months old and and is able to start understanding so much more of what is going on around her. She has loved exploring the ornaments on the tree, turning the Christmas lights on and off with a light switch, and singing Christmas songs. I am so excited to make this Christmas special for her this year, and it really has been so much fun!!!
Christmas Eve we had family over for food and gifts. I made tilapia, shrimp, artichoke and leek bread pudding, pumpkin pie and boysenberry pie. Kira brought salad and Lou was so essential to helping bring it all together in the kitchen. After dinner we opened presents, and did a video chat with my Mom and Jerry. Trying to get all the kids in one picture is a challenge, and forget having them all look at the camera. We did get a few pictures... If you get a sense of movement and chaos when you look through these, then you have the right idea.

Christmas morning was nice and mellow. Willow is too young to wake us up and insist on opening presents, so we had breakfast first and opened presents afterward. There were SO many things for Willow to open, she really is blessed! She enjoyed everything so much. Thank you to everyone who thought of our family this Christmas and made it a great one!
